Natalia Mehlman Petrzela is a historian of contemporary American politics and culture. She is the author of CLASSROOM WARS: Language, Sex, and the Making of Modern Political Culture (Oxford University Press, 2015), and FIT NATION: The Gains and Pains of America’s Exercise Obsession (University of Chicago Press, forthcoming 1.6.2023). She is co-producer and host of the acclaimed podcast WELCOME TO YOUR FANTASY, from Pineapple Street Studios/Gimlet and the co-host of PAST PRESENT podcast. She is a columnist at the Observer, and a frequent media guest expert, public speaker, and contributor to outlets including the New York Times, the Washington Post, CNN, and the Atlantic.Natalia is Associate Professor of History at The New School, co-founder of the wellness education program Healthclass 2.0, and a Premiere Leader of the mind-body practice intenSati. Jennifer Montjoy (she/her) resides in Tucson, Arizona, the traditional homeland of the Tohono O’odham peoples. She is an LGBTQIA+ ally and advocates for BIPOC and female leadership in the psychedelic sciences through the Transpersonal Research Institute of Psychotherapeutic Psychedelics, or TRIPP, a public service non-profit she founded in 2021. Jennifer brings a holistic approach to her mental wellness practice, Resilience Behavioral Health Solutions, and has facilitated more than 300 psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy sessions using ketamine. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University and a Ph.D. from the University of Arizona for her research in the treatment of chronic PTSD and the self-transcendence scale as an outcome measure in psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy. Jennifer provides consulting services and 4-day experiential trainings for clinicians interested in incorporating psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy, utilizing ketamine and other psychoactives as they become available for clinical use, into their practices.
