Brionna Mendoza is a Ph.D. Candidate in History at THE Ohio State University, studying the Cold War and the War on Drugs in the United States and Latin America throughout the 20th century. She is also a Managing Editor for Origins: Current Events in Historical Perspective, overseeing the writing & production for the second season of the serial podcast “Prologued” that tells the story of the Global War on Drugs.
